HOPE IKIRIKO JOINS OTHER LEADERS OF RIVERS STATE AT THE INAUGURAL LECTURE/BOOK LAUNCH, ORGANIZED BY THE RIVERS STATE GOVERNMENT.

The Executive Chairman Of Ahoada West Local Government Area Of Rivers State, Hon. (Evang) Hope O. Ikiriko FCNA., FNES., Ph.D. has, on Thursday, May 25th, 2023, joined other Leaders of Rivers State at the inaugural lecture/book launch ceremony organized by the Rivers State Government.

The event was organised by the Inauguration Committee of May 29 2023, as part of activities marking the end of the Administration of His. Excellency, Chief. Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, the Executive Governor Of Rivers State, Government and Inauguration of the New Rivers Vision Consolidation of Sir. Siminalayi Fubara Administration.

The lecture, which was titled "Democracy, Transformational Leadership and Sustainable Development in Nigeria ( A case study of Rivers State)," was delivered by Prof. Julius Ihovbere

While the book titled "Leadership Strategy Governance" In honour of His Excellency, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike was presented by the Former Governor Of Rivers State, His.Excellency, Sir. Dr. Peter Odilli

Presenting the book, Dr. Odilli recounts that Gov. Wike have restored the pride of the State. Expressing further; that Gov. Wike had also surpassed previous Administration in the state, in terms of performance and project delivery.

The event Story, which succintly captured Governor Wike's performance under his Administration as Rivers State Governor, was interestingly elaborate as it draws from his accomplishment and fulfilment to the people of Rivers State. And The occasion had its Chairman as, Hon. Justice Iche N. Ndu, (Rtd), OFR. LLD. (Hon.), DSSRS, Former Chief Judge of Rivers State/Chairman, Governing Council Rivers State University, Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt.

Earlier, the Chairman of Public Lecture / Book Presentation Committee - Prof. Okey Onuchukwu , Vice Chancellor, Ignatius Ajuru University Of Education, Rumuolumeni, Port Harcourt, remarked that four books would be launched during the event. The four books were, "Leadership, governance and sustenance in Nigeria, in honour of governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike. Edited by Prof. Okey Onuchukwu and Prof Chinedum Mmom," and "Transformational Speeches of governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike. Edited by Barr. E.K Beredugo."

The inaugural lecture attracted so many dignitaries; The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, and his wife; Her Excellency, Hon. Justice Eberechi Zuzzette Nyesom-Wike DSSRS, Deputy Governor Of Rivers State; Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Ipalibo Harrry Banigo.

Former Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Sir. Dr. Peter Odilli and his wife; Her Excellency, Hon. Justice Mary Odili (Rtd.), The Governor-elect; Sir. Siminalaye Fubara DSSRS, and his Deputy, Prof. (Mrs.) Ngozi Ordu DSSRS, Rt. Hon. Ikuinyi-Owaji Ibani DSSRS; Speaker, Rivers State House Of Assembly, His Lordship, Hon. Justice Simeon Chibuzor Amadi DSSRS, Chief Judge of Rivers State.
