NYSC @50: HOPE IKIRIKO RECEIVES AN AWARD OF EXCELLENCE FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS AND SUPPORT TOWARDS CORPS MEMBERS.

As the National Youth Service Corps mark its 50th anniversary, the scheme under the auspices of Corps members in Rivers State on 20th May 2023, honoured the Executive Chairman of Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State; Hon. (Evang.) Hope O. Ikiriko FCNA, FNES, Ph.D with an Award of Excellence for his contributions and support towards the Scheme and its members, especially those posted to Ahoada West Local Government Area.

Hope Ikiriko was honored by the National Youth Service Corps Rivers State during the 50th Years Anniversary of the Scheme at the Port Harcourt City Council Secretariat Hall, Port Harcourt Rivers State

Recall that on the 17th of November 2021 the Executive Chairman, Hon. Hope Ikiriko was recognised and awarded by National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the NYSC/ Corps Employers workshop at Obio/Akpor Local Government Council cordoned by the Rivers State co-ordinator of the National Youth Service Corps in conjunction with the Local Government Chairmen of Rivers State. The award which was motivated in areas of accommodation, Medical Support, provision of mattresses, transportation fare and general Welfare support to Corps Members. And so many other similar awards from members of the scheme.

The Chairman during his remarks and while conducting a toast, expressed that with the testimonies so far, the dreams of the founding fathers of the scheme has been actualized in fostering unity across the Country. The Chairman further advocated for continuity of peace and unity of the Country.
